Through out the ages God has used women to minister and to "carry" the word of God. Here is a brief synopsis
of the WOWs, the Women of the Word!

Miriam - Was cited in Exodus
15:20 as being a prophetess. Instructed and sang prophetic utterances from God to his people. Along with
her brothers Moses, the Hebrew Leader and Aaron the High Priest.

Deborah - A judge who is best known
for her house under a Palm tree from which she judged. She is also known for leading the Israelie army along with
the mighty warrior and leader of the Isrealie army Barak to victory over Sisera. She received word from
the LORD to guide her people in day to day matters (civil matters) and in government (political and criminal matters) as well.
At that time Judges were both political and spiritual leaders. Read about Phrophetess Deborah in the book of Judges
chapters 4 and 5.

Prophetess
Anna - Luke 2:36-38. She was present at the temple
for the circumcision of Jesus. She gave blessings to him prophesying that He would bring redemption to Jerusalem.

Mary
(MIRYAM hebrew)- Mother of THE LORD Jesus.
Conceived the savior of the world through the power of the Holy Ghost and gave birth to him while still a virgin. Even
though She loved her child she knew one day that he would suffer greatly. She endured it all by faith for the glory that
he would have in eternity. She gave him the rearing of a pious jewish boy, along with her husband Joseph. She
also assisted her son Jesus in the ministry, was one of the 70 disciples who evangelized the region. Was also one of
the 120 on the day of Pentecost who received the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tounges. Refered to
by some as the Queen of the Universe. A brave little Hebrew girl who belived God and lived a pure life, became a chosen
vessel to "carry" and "deliver" the Word of God. WOW! (The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.)
