Mary Mother of Jesus

Mary (MIRYAM hebrew)- Mother of THE LORD Jesus.  Conceived the savior of the world through the power of the Holy Ghost and gave birth to him while still a virgin.  Even though She loved her child she knew one day that he would suffer greatly. She endured it all by faith for the glory that he would have in eternity.  She gave him the rearing of a pious jewish boy, along with her husband Joseph.  She also assisted her son Jesus in the ministry, was one of the 70 disciples who evangelized the region.  Was also one of the 120 on the day of Pentecost who received the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tounges.  Refered to by some as the Queen of the Universe.  A brave little Hebrew girl who belived God and lived a pure life, became a chosen vessel to "carry" and  "deliver"  the Word of God.  WOW!
