Some rules of prayer.
For the born again believer payer is breath. It is communicating with the Most High. As you commune with
him you will notice that It seems that it is still and quite at other times theres talking. We all know that in reality
The Supreme being is talking all the time. His communication transists on an open wave for all to tune in and listen.
"For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth,
and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall
my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isiah 55:10 & 11.
So we gather from this passage that there is a word for all to hear and adhear to. Then there are specific communications
designed for specific individuals or groups.
He talks through His Holy Spirit directly to our spirits or Angels or men. He may also send signs or messages through
nature - animals, wind, rain and other things.
- The Ark angel Gabriel sent word to Daniel in Daniel 9:21. Also to Joseph and Mary in Luke 1:26.
- In Exodus 3:2-4:23 Moses spake to the Most High through a burning bush.
- Gideon received confirmation through the sign of a wet fleece in Judges 36-38.
The Posture of Prayer -
How one condones one's self during ones time of prayer is highly important. Some general helpful tips.
This will help you to get answers.
- Make sure you are clothed. So not to offend or distract the being sent to help you. They may see your nakedness and
keep going. Cover yourself in a prayer shawl or white head covering.
- Be reverent and respectful. Acknowledge God as king.
- Due to time travel, give your date, location and current state of conditions. Are you ill, are you well, are you poor,
etc.
- Use Hebrew shows your respect for God's Kingdom.
- Make sure you are clean again to be respectful.
- And make sure you have eaten. If you are not fasting and if you have designated a fast mention it and the reason for it.
He knows better he may tell you to end it or whatever.
Of course that is performed with in reason. That pertains to your set prayer time.
- Frequency of the Prayer time: Some use the Daniel method and pray 3 times a day facing the Holy City, Jerusalem. That
is what is recommended.
- Make sure you make it count and get to the point. Remember to make space for listening to El. That's the most important
part. If you seem to have no time to pray he will let you go attend to what seems to be so important. Again our Father
is refered to as being a gentleman.
What to say when you pray.
- Begin with addressing El Shaddai properly. Talk as if you are addressing a King or royalty, which includes
your introducing yourself. For a good start this will get you a fast response because it is used by most Hebrews:
Barak Atah Adonai Eloheinu Melek Ha Olam...
Praise The LORD our God King of the Universe...
And of course there is ...
Our Father, which art in heaven hollowed, be thy name.
Ha Av Shabashamayim Barak Atah (Ha Kdsh) Ha Shem.
*Notice the last one rhymes because this one is what I call the Davidic Prayer Model (See I Chr
29:10-30 and Luke 11.
- Since what you say is so very important. I suggest getting a Jewish prayer books and devotional. Use those at every
prayer time and especially in those times when you have no clue what to ask for. When you have no idea how or where to draw a
conclusion, they will help you to remain or gain focus.
